The aim is to support leaders and teachers to develop understanding of teaching for mastery approaches that support all pupils, including those with SEND, to make mathematical connections, and explore links to EEF guidance.

The sessions will include:

● how NCETM Ready-to-Progress exemplification materials can be used to inform pre-teaching, targeted intervention and additional support.

● the role of precision teaching in securing specific mathematical targets and effective in-lesson adaptations.

● An opportunity to review school systems that develop staff expertise in teaching for mastery and ensure coherent, effective support for pupils with SEND through high-quality classroom teaching and targeted intervention.
