Who can take part?

This project is for Early Years teachers who would like to develop their specialist knowledge for teaching maths to Reception pupils. It may be particularly relevant for teachers that have moved phases or have not received maths-specific training.

Please note -

Our Hub is taking part in the EEF trial of Mastering Number at Reception and KS1
In order for the Randomised Control Trial to demonstrate the difference between pupils engaging with Mastering Number lessons and those who are not, it is important that Reception teachers and pupils in the control group do not experience Mastering Number in any form, including through an EY SKTM programme or as part of Targeted Support therefore if your school is part of the Trial you can not take part in this NCP25-25 SKTM Early Years - Number.

You might want to consider a different SKTM for teachers or teaching assistants working in KS1 or KS2, or to join the Teaching for Mastery pathway.
